Research and development

As a forward-looking company, we invest a great deal in research and development.

Our employees work all over the world work on future-oriented products and technologies. Efficient solutions are constantly being developed in close cooperation with customers from the automotive industry, machine building and aviation and aerospace.

Our customers receive products that have great benefits. This means that, for example, by using our coatings developed in-house, the operating life of bearings can be increased considerably. Not only the bearing itself is integrated into the module, but also measuring technology and drives and controls, and calculating programs developed in-house enable our engineers to design complete transmission systems and the required bearing supports directly at the customer’s premises – worldwide.

A prerequisite for innovation is the regular, personal exchange of knowledge and experiences. The FAG Innovation Award is awarded annually in order to promote talent and is recognized as one of the foremost technoloy prizes in Germany.
